As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for the commissioning of new installations, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, inspections, and providing training. You report to a supervisor and work closely with various departments. In this role, you will travel both nationally and internationally.

- Conducting service visits at customer locations for installation, commissioning, emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits, and training.
- Performing mechanical and electrical work.
- Conducting remote audits.
- Ensuring first-time-fix and customer satisfaction.
- Communicating and reporting effectively to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Providing technical support to customers via phone and email, including outside office hours and on weekends according to a fixed schedule.
- Documenting all service activities timely and accurately.
- Participating in cross-training and cross-functional teams with other Duravant companies.
- Complying with industry, company, and customer safe work practices.

Over jou
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electromechanics, Electronics, or similar) or equivalent experience.
- Valid B driver’s license.
- Experience and ability to travel extensively, up to 70%, including overnight stays if necessary and some weekends away from home. Occasional international travel may be required.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
- Ability to interpret complex technical information, including reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- General PC knowledge, including hardware, software, and network communication.
- Experience with variable frequency drive (VFD) parameter configuration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office applications.
- Analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Self-motivated, professional, energetic, positive, and disciplined to perform under work pressure.
